The rifleman's bullet hit its mark as he saw the little girl squirm in pain. He raised his gun to take another shot  but was interrupted by two shots to his chest. He instead focused his shot on the would be savior and fired. The third rifleman in the cluster prepared to join his ally when he noticed a tribal with a mask running in holding twin machetes. He leveled the rifle to shoot and was peppered by a hail of rounds that floored him. He managed to pull himself onto a rock and aimed the gun at the melee fighter now in front of him. The last gunman joined his rifle with the first and opened fire on Cyrus who stood valiantly between them and the wounded girl.

Two bullets flew at Alistair from atop with one finding its way into his leg. He retreated to his rock and held the wound. Picking up his cigarette he addressed Mae, "is it just me or is this lot quite hostile towards are merry band?" The redhead responded with a smile and a grunt as she leaned over him to shoot out of cover. Alistair allowed his gaze to soak in the view it was given when a scream of pain drew his attention. He saw Valkyrie on the ground with revolvers out and arrow impaled. He instinctively grabbed Mae's shoulders and rolled them both so that he was on top, "sorry, Sparkles, family calls."

Alistair sprinted to his sister's position despite the pain in his leg and held her protectively. With her head on his lap, he called out to the bowman before quick drawing the Ranger Sequoia from its special holster and letting loose the Desperado Blaster.

Aeris looked at Cyrus vfor a second as he healed her. She saw him turn and fire his rounds and hit he people as he died he got hurt with two more rounds she quickly aimed at one of the riflemen that shot him she aimed down the scope and fired a round. "Please don't.... Pleaes don't  get your self killed, because of me." as she looked back at Cyrus with a red face and a little water in her eyes she then scopes back down her sight to get ready for the next shot.

The riflemen were thrown back by the force of the rounds hitting them. One fell to the ground, a lifeless heap, while the second scurried back to cover. Using a rock to stabilize its injured arm, the rifleman returned fire at Mae. The bowman dropped to the ground when he saw the big iron aimed at him and just barely missed the shot that would have finished him. Emboldened by the dodge and the condition of his prey, he began advancing down the hill slowly with his arrow drawn. He leveled it at the cowboy that fired at him and let it fly.

Of the two that attacked Cyrus, one found himself struck in the shoulder and sprawled on the ground. He made to pull himself to safety while his partner continued the fight.

Cyrus smiled, "Don't worry about me don't intend to die here." He turned around to face the remaining enemy, both pistols drawn. After a moment of surveying the situation, "Looks like its time to start the party." Cyrus said as he aimed in on hist first target fired a round. The he looked over to a second and fired another.

The shoot raged on, and, if ignoring the other's injuries, going quite well.
Satisfied with his perch, he stood and scouted. Most targets were engaged and wounded, on a fast track to die without his direct involvement, therefore, out of mind. So he decided to prioritized.
The target with the bow has already injured a few of Edward's new team mates, and is enjoying the undeserved comfort of no bullet holes.
Edward took aim once again, and fired before he could reach another arrow.

The masked man glared down at his prey. What a rush! The throbbing of wounds, the constant danger, and the ever-so-sweet fear of a wounded man staring death in the face. Vlachs raised both machetes and let out a vicious cry as he slammed them down to each side of the rifleman's neck.

Valkyrie felt relieved when her brother knelt next to her. She grunted in pain as she pulled the arrow through. The bowman staggered as two shots hit him and Valkyrie decided to end it. She used Alistair's knee as support while leveling both revolvers. In a last ditch effort she fired both barrels into her target.

The Riflemen held their ground as half their numbers had fallen. At least two of the interlopers were critically wounded and the fight was far from over. Then, a 9mm round struck one of them in the throat, followed by two rounds from Mae staggering the bowman. The rifleman fell with gurgles in its throat accompanying squirts of blood that painted the hill. The rifleman covering his wounded partner let out a war cry and raised his gun to avenge his comrade only to receive a pair of rounds of his own. He was struck in the chest and left lying with eyes open in shock.

The third of the rifleman's eyes grew in terror when his shot flew askew. The masked swordsman towered over its prey and brought judgement down with both blades. In a panic, the rifleman dived to get out of the way but his foot slipped on the dirt and he hit the ground with a thud. One machete hit the rock behind him sending sparks onto the man, however the second strike was more true as the machete buried itself deep within the rifleman's skull. The bowman recovered from the shots that staggered him and attempted to fire an arrow at the wounded gunslinger. For his efforts, two magnum rounds found there home in his chest.

With severe wounds and his allies falling around him, the last rifleman stood and with a defiant cry of war, turned around and booked it for the cover of night. Alistair holstered his gun and retrieved a stimpack from his pockets. Seeing the rifleman run he called to his team, "a bonus to the one who brings me the motherfucker's head!"

Aeris stood still and held her breath and aimed down the sight to see the rifleman's head she pulls the trigger hoping to end this blood shed.
